Growing up in the outdoors dirt biking and backpacking left Woody with the dream of a simple ranch. His experience as an SOIDC in the Navy and 12 years of Boy Scouting taught him that preparedness is paramount, so as he learned and planned, that simple ranch naturally grew into a self sufficient homestead. These days he spends his time erecting steel buildings, working on the homestead, and creating content in hopes that others can learn from his family's successes and failures.
Megan
Although Megan is a formally trained nurse, she's redirected her love of service to a new calling, helping people build their dream homes. Since 2021 she's used social media to share home-building knowledge & experience, forged online communities for like minded dreamers, and worked with industry experts to connect home-hopefuls with the resources to make their dreams into reality. These days she spends her time creating content for Instagram and YouTube, and working on her family's off grid homestead alongside her husband.
